Challenge Description
Plant fibres (e.g. flax) are expensive and have very limited applications. Improvements of natural fibres, through suitable processing, should be strived for.
Mineral fibres have interesting properties (e.g. basalt), but are not always suitable alternatives to CF.
We are looking for ideas to advance developments in these two fields.
