Event Description
Topic
”The SEALER-programme to commercialize small lead-cooled reactors in Sweden by 2030”.
Abstract
LeadCold is a Swedish company developing small lead-cooled reactors with uranium nitride (UN) fuel for serial production in automated factories.
In this talk I describe the current R&D program supporting this objective and plans for licensing of an 80 MWth nuclear demonstration unit in Oskarshamn.
The programme includes the design, construction and operation of a reactor factory in Sweden, with a capacity of one 55 MWe unit per month.
