Join us for an interactive open innovation workshop focused on scaling reuse practices in the built environment!

Organized by the Circular Building Industry Innovation Booster (CBI Booster) in collaboration with Cirkla and öbu, this event combines inspiration with hands-on ideation sessions. Participants will dive deep into key challenges, collaboratively developing actionable solutions to make reuse more practical and impactful.

Focus Challenges:

What to expect

Dive into a hands-on workshop featuring a challenge deep dive, followed by insights from an inspiring guest speaker. Engage in two interactive ideation rounds: the first to explore challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions, and the second to refine standout ideas and develop actionable plans. Connect with like-minded professionals and discover how your ideas could receive funding through the Booster Program.

Who Should attend

This workshop is designed for individuals and organizations passionate about advancing reuse in the construction industry. Whether you’re a Swiss company (start-up, SME, or corporate), a non-profit organization (public institution, NGO, etc.), or part of a research group, you’re welcome to join us!

We especially encourage participation from those interested in exploring, developing, and refining ideas for products, services, processes, or business models that drive systemic and impactful change in the circular building industry.

Be part of this collaborative workshop and contribute to driving innovation and developing practical solutions for reuse in the construction industry!

Participants of the workshop can submit their idea to the CBI Booster by 9th of April 2025 for a chance to receive 20’000 CHF in funding. More information on the submission criteria and process here.
