Organization Description

The School of Management and Engineering Vaud, in French Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD) is the largest institution of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland, in French Haute Ecole Spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale (HES-SO).


Created in 2006, the School of Management and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD) was born from the merger of the School of Engineering of the Canton of Vaud (EIVD) and the School of Management of the Canton of Vaud (HEG-VD).

Today, it welcomes more than 2000 students.


Located in Yverdon-les-Bains, it offers nine UAS Bachelor's degree courses in engineering and business administration, in three study modes: full-time, part-time and part-time while in employement.


HEIG-VD participates in the HES-SO Master's courses in the fields of engineering and business administration.

It also offers continuing education courses through certified programmes (CAS, DAS, MAS and EMBA).
