We're delighted to share that @biped.ai based at @Biopôle, a part of @Switzerland Innovation Park West EPFL, has successfully secured 1.2 million CHF in funding. Their mission? To revolutionize mobility for the visually impaired!
👁️🗨️Their cutting-edge AI copilot system, a smart navigation harness, utilizes autonomous driving technology to guide visually impaired individuals. Outfitted with 3D cameras and AI algorithms, it predicts trajectories of moving objects (cars, bicycles) and issues timely warnings. This technology provides an expansive field of view, capturing nearly 170 degrees around the user - approaching the natural range of human eyes.
🚀The investment will drive their ambitious plans to enter the US market and expand across Europe.
