The first Mobility Conference at the Switzerland Innovation Park Central brought together more than 100 experts from research, business and public administration to explore the future of sustainable mobility in Switzerland.
๐ก The program opened with key insights and contributions from:
• Martin Candinas, National Councillor & President of LITRA - Informationsdienst für den öffentlichen Verkehr, on Switzerland’s transport policy and future direction
• Dr. Philipp Scharfenberger, Universität St.Gallen (HSG), on the mobility transformation in Switzerland and Europe
• Deniz Püseli (Universität St.Gallen (HSG) and Lorenzo Niola (Swisspod), presenting the Innovation Booster New Mobility, powered by Innosuisse, and its role in driving radical mobility innovation
๐ In the breakout sessions, participants discussed some of the most pressing challenges and pioneering solutions shaping tomorrow’s mobility:
• Swissrail Industry Association – Next Mobility Experience Davos with Andreas Haas and Noëlle Meier
• Planzer – Von Pain zu Gain with Björn Lindner
• EuroTube – Innovating our way out of the infrastructure investment roadblock with Daniel Elmeua Lehmann and Zienab E.
• Dotphoton – Smart data, not big data with Bruno Sanguinetti
• ZF Group – Enabling the Orchestration of Automated Mobility with Maarten Korz and Marco Laumanns
• Swiss Transit Lab – Scaling automated public transport solutions with Matthias Rödter
• DroneVia– Low Altitude Economy in Switzerland with Claudio R. Boër
โจ The event continued with inspiring talks on The Future of eFuels by Arne Philipp Siemens (Porsche AG) and Micromobility in Future Urban Society by Katharina Schlittler (Voi Technology & TCS), followed by a networking Flying Dinner & Start-up Marketplace.
