Project Idea Description
The rapid evolution of the industrial fashion sector requires a proactive approach in training the new generations of talent. Digitalization, sustainability, and innovation have become fundamental pillars, and a dedicated training institution can play a key role in ensuring that young professionals are prepared to face the challenges and seize the opportunities in this rapidly changing context.
On the occasion of an upcoming relocation, our project aims to create a cutting-edge training institution capable of offering comprehensive and multidisciplinary education. Our training activities will include both specific technical skills in the sector, such as design, production, and supply chain management, and essential transversal skills, such as digitalization, sustainability, and innovation.
One of the distinctive elements of our training institution is the close collaboration with companies in the industrial fashion sector. Through strategic partnerships, internships, and practical projects, we ensure that our students gain a deep understanding of the sector's needs and trends, as well as the practical experience necessary to succeed in the workforce.
Furthermore, we are committed to integrate emerging technologies and best practices into our training program. From augmented reality to digital production, we would like to prepare our students to use the latest technological innovations to develop creative and sustainable solutions.
Our ultimate goal is to train a new generation of industrial fashion professionals who are not only competent in their areas of specialization but also capable of adapting to and leading innovation in the sector.
Various technical resources are needed to allow students to acquire practical skills and experiment with materials and tools used in the industry. Some essential resources include textile production machinery, pattern making and prototyping equipment, measuring and quality control instruments, consumable materials, and specialized computers and software.
How can we concretely organize and coordinate, from a functional and logistical point of view, all these needs to set up interior spaces ready to face the challenges of the present and future, in higher education for the industrial fashion sector? What are the technologies and tools to focus on now and in the future?"
The rapid evolution of industrial fashion requires proactive training. The project proposes to create a multidisciplinary training setup with a focus on both technical and transversal skills, collaborating with companies, integrating emerging technologies, and providing necessary resources. The goal is to train innovative professionals ready for future challenges.
