- Avatar voice (provider) is TOO fast! Need to slow down or give an option for the provider / speaker to talk faster or slower depending on the needs of the patient. This was difficult for me to follow and I would need to slow it down or hear it two to three times, to fully digest what the avatar provider is actually saying
- Emma types or can Emma also speak back to the Avatar?
- I like the haptic feedback and the body avatar (are they customizable?)
- If you are “speaking” to a parent about their child, does the avatar provider change / shift to talk to the parent and refer to “your child” instead of “you the patient?”
- I like that the avatar provider is “warm” responsive and validating of the patients experience. I am curious about the back end algorithm used and how /what language model you are using to “train” the provider. I think this could use some tweaking to read as authentic, customized, engaging and not paternalistic and minimizing. Essentially, it could feel inauthentic to validate a patients experience, if you haven’t yet even “heard” the patients experience (i.e. of frustration with not being heard by providers) - could feel assumptive without some foundational relationship being built. I feel like there is more work to be done / explore around how a patient builds relationship / partnership with an avatar / AI provider. I would love to discuss this further and help explore this further (if helpful).
- Tenets and theory related to patient-provider relationships, patient-provider collaborations, shared-decision making, patient autonomy, patient agency all seem relevant and worth exploring further.
• ⁃ Is this a single session relationship between the “provider” and patient? Or is this something where the patient could visit with their chat bot provider again and again (over time) as the patients symptom constellation shift or evolve? If no data is being saved, how could my avater / provider” remember what we discussed last time?
