We propose to explore how neuroscience can support sustainability in the fashion and lifestyle sectors. Our aim is to investigate how neuroscientific insights into empathy can influence individual and collective behavior, encouraging more sustainable choices. By understanding the neural underpinnings of empathy, we explore the possibility of designing a solution (using technology AI, VR) that fosters deeper emotional connections to environmental impact. Additionally, we want to apply neuromarketing strategies—grounded in neuroscience and consumer psychology—to effectively communicate sustainability messages and influence consumer behavior toward more ethical and eco-conscious decisions. Together, these approaches can promote lasting behavioral change.
