Project Idea Description
The energy transition to decarbonization & decentralization is a substantial task for society and the economy. Effective measurability and incentivization are essential for successfully harmonizing ecological goals with an economical implementation. GOs are intended to provide transparency about the origin of energy and can thus provide the required measurability concerning energy quality. However, it is crucial that information regarding energy production, energy distribution, including energy storage, and the energy consumption is openly and consistently shared between several stakeholders and across industries. A trusted environment is required in which data sovereignty, portability, and interoperability are ensured while simultaneously fostering B2B multi-party data interaction, breaking current data silos. Through cryptographic methods, the continuum between cloud and edge computing, and decentralized architectures, we aim to develop a governance technology that creates a higher level of digital trust in the digital world than the respective companies would effectively trust each other in the real world. Therefore, we want to allow for transcending bilateral ex-ante defined data reciprocities aiming for real-time multi-party data sharing.
